Customer Service Specialist – Norcross, GA

American Valve Customer Service Specialists work with customers and end-users to assist them with placing orders, provide technical assistance, and offer superior sales and customer service.  


Bachelor's degree or minimum three years’ related experience.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting strategic vision into an operational model.
  • Ability to work independently but also a collaborative and flexible style, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to roll-up sleeves and hands-on in various aspects of business, working cross- functionally to identify efficiencies and implement process improvements
  • Analytical, inquisitive, detail-oriented troubleshooter who enjoys developing steps that lead to solutions
  • Actively engaged in growth of business and has a keen sense of urgency
  • Embraces technology and is a change agent focusing organizational effectiveness and process improvement
  • Strong PC skills; Experience with Epicor Eclipse (Solar) a plus

Main Duties

  • Identify the needs of our customers and exceed their expectations.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and social media.
  • Promote programs and products to our wholesale customers and end-users.
  • Offer technical support and assist with problem solving.
  • Identify potential customers and support our national network of regional managers and sales representatives.
  • Develop long-term business relationships with customers.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently.
